I can’t rate the product because it has not arrived yet; however, I can rate the poor customer service I have received from bikesonline.com. I could have easily purchased a bike from other retailers such as bikesdirect.com, a big box store, Amazon, a local sporting store, or a local bike shop. But I chose this company instead.
On December 11, 2020, my wife Tracy purchased a 2021 Polygon Premier 5, from bikesonline.com, which they shipped through FedEx, on December 14, 2020.
On December 16, the bikesonline site showed the bike would arrive by the end of the day on December 17, 2020. It did not.
On 17 Dec, I checked the FedEx and the bikesonline.com tracking systems. Now neither had a delivery date. The FedEx online system could not even find any information for my tracking number.
On December 18, I called bikesonline customer service and explained I was upset because I had not received any notice for delayed delivery and theirs and FedEx’s system showed nothing. The associate explained FedEx was overwhelmed, and the bike might arrive over the weekend; and if not, then by December 21.

On 21 Dec at 5:30 p.m., I called bikesonline.com customer service and spoke to someone in tracking. They could only tell me they sent the bike to FedEx on Dec 14. They could not tell me where it was or when it would arrive. I was told, “just wait another week to see if the bike arrives.” This is likely “company policy,” so I don’t fault the associate; however, this is completely unacceptable. I voiced my dissatisfaction and requested an immediate refund because no one could locate the package, or give an anticipated delivery date.
The associate then suggested I submit a claim to FedEx for a lost package. I told her, “wrong answer.” I asked her why should I have to submit a claim to FedEx for a package bikesonline.com sent, which I had not received, and neither they nor FedEx could locate.
She then offered to email me a return label, which I could use to return the bike when it arrived. Wrong answer yet again. I am not going to wait indefinitely in hopes that the package will arrive, which could be the following day, week, month, or year. I further explained that I disagreed with the policy of bikesonline.com holding my money hostage until I return their bike. I re-emphasize, they and FedEx lost the package.
After I explained that I was not going to initiate anything since they lost the package, she agreed to giving me a refund. She then said I will have to wait 10-business days for it. I told her I had a problem with the 10-day wait. I explained bikesonline.com did not wait 10-business days to charge my credit card. She tried to deflect the blame onto me by saying it was “my credit card’s policy.” I have returned products to Walmart, Amazon, Target, and numerous other online retailers. 3-days is the average turn-around time for a refund.
I paid for a bike that was supposed to arrive on December 17, so I could ride it that coming weekend. On Dec 21, I posted a negative review of bikesonline.com on Facebook and two the venues.
On Dec 23, bikesonline.com, sent me the following message. “FedEx has informed us that your order #A021…. is experiencing complications in delivery. We are in contact with FedEx to have it resolved as quickly as possible. We will continue to monitor your order status and might be in touch if we require further delivery instructions from you.”
Why did bikesonline have to wait for me to complain before giving me an update. I entered into a contract with bikesonline; I pay them what they asked for the bike, they give me what I paid for. It appears their responsibility ended when FedEx took the package. Granted FedEx deserves its share of the blame, but I did not give them my money, I gave it to bikesonline. I work in healthcare management. I have found that most of my patients didn't complain because we made them wait. They complained because we did not tell them they would have to wait past their scheduled time, and why.

Just wanted to share my ongoing experience with bikesonline.com in case anyone was interested in their bikes.

I purchased a Polygon Siskiu N7 due to the value and decent components, but I regret that decision so much right now.

1: Bike took 3 months to arrive with no updates throughout the process

2: Bike came in the INCORRECT size. I pulled the frame out and instantly noticed it was labeled "Size L" instead of "Size M".

I emailed Support and they told me they had "manufacturing issues" where the incorrect stickers were placed on the wrong size frames and tried to assure me I had the correct frame size. Yeah- no thanks!

I proceeded with the return process.

3: Bike was only taken out for inspection and was repackaged exactly the same way it came after discovering the bike was labeled with the incorrect size.

4: BikesOnline receives the bike and charges me $65 for damages due to "improper" packaging. The bike was packaged exactly how it came.

5: BikesOnline refuses to honor their "Free 14-day Returns" policy.

Avoid BikesOnline at all costs. The whole process was, and continues to be, a nightmare!

Bike broke after riding for 2 minutes

My friend recommended Bikesonline to me. It seemed like a good deal. I ordered a Premier 4 for my wife. After receiving my wife's bike, I assembled it as per written and video instructions. My wife rode it for 2 minutes and when she shifted the gear the rear derailer and a derailer hanger broke and were destroyed. I took it to the bike shop and the owner inspected it and found that the derailer wasn't set correctly. I contacted bikesonline, they emailed me with a few questions. I haven't heard back from them for 5 days. The bike seems like a good bike, but so far this experience has not been.

Ike was assembled in a way that makes…

Ike was assembled in a way that makes me think that a kindergarten class did the work. The frame is possibly cracked. I have been trying to get them to issue a return label.for.over three weeks now. They have received a video and an audio.recording of the major issue that sounds like a failed weld.or.cracked tube. They keep.saying that they will issue a label then refusing to issue the label. This is one of the worst buying experiences that I have had with any product. I have had to involve my bank to get this issue resolved. They will sell you a defective product that has been incorrectly assembled and then refuse to allow a return or a replacement. Stay away from BikesOnline. Their website only shows mostly positive reviews because they 99% of the negative reviews. Buying a bike from BikesOnline leaves you with a 50% chance of receiving a broken and unusable product that they will not even attempt to fix or return. Congratulations to everyone that received a usable bke.

I'm very disappointed with your customer service

I'm very disappointed with your BikesOnline.com and Polygon. I waited 3 months for my bike. My Sisku T8 came with cheap Vee Flow Tires instead of the Schwalbe Hans Dampf Evo. I tried multiple times to try and get a hold of someone in charge but I just kept on getting blown off. They said a manager would be in touch with me and a month later no one called me. The best they said the would do is give me $20 on a $200 set of tires. Not to mention that it also had scratches and damage when I received my mountain bike. This is one of the worst experiences I ever had with buying bikes online. You ripped me off. This is ridiculous. I'm so aggravated with Polygon and Bikes Online for their terrible customer service.

Great experience with BikesOnline

Great experience with BikesOnline. Support was great. Assembly easy. Very please with the Vander T7. It needs a dropper and be prepared to degrease the chain! Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

Watch Out!

"I ordered a bike from bikesonline.com and was overall happy, except the bike I received came with different, much inferior tires! When I contacted their customer service, they didn't even know that the manufacturer was swapping out crappy tires and said they are not going to do anything, because it is SUPPOSED to come with the tires shown in the specifications, they must have just been a shortage when they assembled mine. They offered no solutions to my problem and basically blew me off. I would have been happy had they sent me the correct tires, offered a partial refund to make up for the difference between tires, or even a store credit would have been fine. Instead nothing..."
UPDATE- After seeing my negative reviews I was contacted by the company and they gave me a refund of the price of one tire, basically. So there's that...

They had what I wanted in stock and it shipped quick. I received my bike within 5 days of ordering and I love it. Right size, right bike, and extra parts with perfect packaging. No complaints from me at all!
